Fun In The Kitchen With The Kids

What better way to spend a cold wintry day, inside where it's warm and cozy. But the kids are complaining that they are bored and have nothing to do. Well help is on it's way, here is a fun way to keep them entertain and make a fun healthy snack at the same time.

Frist you'll need and bowl with warm water and a 4 ounce package of jello, you can use any flavor you want. Microwave on high, then remove and stir until dissolved.

Stir in marshmallows, then microwave on high until the marshmallows are melted.

Pour mixture into a 8 inch or 9 inch pan. Then refrigerate for 30-45 minutes. Be sure to spray the pan first with non stick cooking spray first. Then remove from the fridge and loosen the edges, then flip the pan's contents onto a flat surface. Then start rolling tightly.

Then cut into 1/2 inch slices. Then watch the kids smiling faces as they eat away, of course you too can have a slice or two along with them.

Marshmallow Pinwheels
1 (4 oz.) pkg. Jello, any flavor
½ c. warm water
1 ½ c. miniature marshmallows
Stir jello and water in a bowl. Microwave on high 1 ½ minutes. Stir until dissolved. Stir in marshmallows. Microwave on high for I minute or until marshmallows are melted.
