To Decadence With Pure Love

I wanted to make a dessert, but not just any dessert. I wanted something that will satisfy an addiction of mine (chocolate), as well as not take a long time to make.
I had a bunch of bananas, plenty of chocolate as well as the other ingredients just sitting around doing nothing. then the idea hit me, I could make a chocolate crème brulee!

Chocolate creme brulee with caramelized bananas

Chocolate Crème Brulee with Caramelized Bananas
½ c. plus 2 tbsp. Milk
3/4 cup Heavy cream
3 ½ ounces Bittersweet chocolate
5 Egg yolks
1/3 c. plus ½ tbsp. Sugar
1/3 cup Light brown sugar
4 Bananas
Preheat oven to 275. Bring the milk and the cream mixed together to a boil.
Add the chopped chocolate into the cream and milk mixture, set aside for 5 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar.
While whipping the egg mixture, pour in the milk, cream and chocolate mixture.
Let cool.
Fill six ungreased ramekins with equal amounts of the chocolate brulee mixture.
Bake in a water bath in the oven for about 40 minutes.
When the creme brulees are done, transfer them to a sheet pan and let cool.
Decorate the top of each with 5 or 6 slices of bananas.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and broil the creme brulees under the broiler until the sugar melts and turns golden color. Yield: 6 servings
